Bittersweet is a contemporary circus show that follows two people on their journey through life defining their path with all its twists and turns whilst navigating fear, courage and overthinking as they take small and big decisions. Using techniques of hand to hand as a common language, the two artists explore the universal struggle of decision-making: the fear of the unknown versus the paralyzing grip of staying the same. Audiences are invited to witness the beauty in the imperfection, lifting the omnipresent pressure for perfection in this society for a fleeting moment. The show creates a space for reflection about the courage it takes to embrace the unknown without the need for answers.
